Phone Coaching for Weight Loss

     Alice attended two of my Hypnosis weight loss groups, and then after a few weeks
she started slipping back to her old eating and self-critical thought patterns. 

     We began a series of short phone coaching sessions; She called me on her way home
 from work a few times a week for a couple of weeks. We worked out a plan, which included
 her maintaining a range of weight. When she found herself at the highest number in the range; 
 she began consciously using her 10-second self hypnotic tool for instant gratification whenever she got the urge to binge, cheat  or found herself thinking  about the 'issue' excessively. 

     She calls for tweaking and/or support less frequently now but likes the idea of help being so accessible.
 Her weight has stayed within her range and her negative thinking has been at a minimum for five months now. 
 She says it is the longest time in her adult life, (41 years) that she has been able to accomplish this. 

     My thought is that if she can keep it going for a year, she is on her way to establishing a permanent
 change in her attitude toward food, her body and her self-image.
